TRANSITION TO SCHOOL

This group meets on Monday afternoons from September to July and is open to any 3 or 4 year olds due to start any school the following September. The session runs from 12.45pm to 4.00pm and takes place in our usual location, The Grey Village Hall. Occasionally we shall visit Sutton on the Forest Primary School and we will also be welcoming visits from Head Teachers and Reception Class Teachers from local schools.  

 

The session is run by Debbie Atlay, with another member of Preschool staff and focuses on projects and activities which will help prepare the children for their next steps to Primary School. It is open to all children regardless of which school they plan to attend come the following September.
